PhotoPoems Book 10 brings together series 37, 38, 39, and 40 of PhotoPoems, each composed of 12 photographs taken in different places and moments. These sets of images not only form a sequence, but their elements intertwine to become visual poems. The arrangement of the photographs is not arbitrary: rhythm, the repetition of motifs, and deliberate composition generate a cadence in which the images engage in dialogue, creating something greater than the sum of its parts and offering a holistic meaning that transcends both each individual image and the entire ensemble. In each of the PhotoPoems, I employ devices drawn from poetry: rhyme emerges through recurring shapes and textures; alliteration is found in visual echoes; rhythm appears in the alternation of patterns; and tone unfolds through the atmosphere that permeates each group. In this way, photography adopts the structure and sensibility of poetry, giving rise to a sequence of images that, far from being mere records of time, invite a deeper reading. Each photograph, understood as an isolated fragment, acquires emotional and symbolic weight depending on its position within the whole. In this context, the image becomes a verse, the sequence turns into a stanza, and the mosaic reveals itself as a true poem. Here, photography is not merely something to be seen, but a poetics that can be read and heard in its flow.
